We did not want a leather basketball, but also didn't like the feel of rubber basketballs, so we went with this Eco Sports ball and could NOT be happier! It has a soft, smooth, almost leather feel to it, it was easy to pump up with a handheld ball pump, and we've played two short games with it outside, (on some not-so-nice courts), so far and not noticed any major wear and tear. I'm extremely satisfied with this purchase and will go to Eco Sports first next time we're looking for sporting equipment.
I love everything about these basketballs, from the eco and non-toxic materials to the quality. Even when the balls are in their retirement phase, they hold their roundness and bounce.

I received my Size 7 football fairly quickly after placing my order. I immediately knew it was going to be a great ball for my PE students. The size and feel/grip are great. It has a perfect shape and weight for 4th - 8th grade students. I will definitely be ordering more.
I have been really pleased with a soccer ball sample that was sent to me to test out. The quality has been comparable to the more expensive equipment I have purchased, but none of the other have come with a mission like eco sport. I am trying to see about making a bulk purchase for my program and to teach my students about the mission as well to better educate our students and society. I like this company's mission and am always about giving back in some way. To make the world a better place, in big or small ways is very important. The first time I hit an Eco Sport with my paddle, I thought I broke the ball. It has such a different sound, and ferocious bounce that I was sure I warped it. Turns out, it’s the different plastic and it is amazing!
The ball performs SO well that it is now my #1 choice when drilling and in rec games. It roughs up and takes spin beautifully, and it is fast on the court. The EcoSport pickleball takes hours and hours and hours of play and doesn’t break down at all!!
I prefer using this ball to my Franklin X-40, and durafast. It is always my first ball for warming up and jumping into an afternoon match!
Got this for my doggy Isabelle who LOVES all types of sports balls. I have been worrying about her ripping up basketballs, soccer balls, etc because of the chemicals and materials commonly used in those. I was happy to find this ball for her, which I can feel good about giving her to play with without her ingesting nearly as many toxins.
