Why TPU?

We build our balls with TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) — a high-performance synthetic material that outperforms traditional leather and common synthetic alternatives in the ways that matter on the field and court.

What is TPU? Thermoplastic polyurethane is an engineered elastomer known for its abrasion resistance, elasticity, and durability. It keeps its flexibility in cold weather, holds up to repeated impact, and delivers a consistent touch and bounce over thousands of plays.

How does it compare? PVC — the material used in many entry-level sports balls — requires added plasticizer softeners to stay flexible. TPU is flexible by design, without those additives. Compared to traditional leather, TPU is more consistent in wet conditions, requires no break-in, and contains no animal byproducts.
