The microfiber Composite material that Wilson uses contains BPA's & Phthalates that our skin does not love. Although Wilson is unclear but "Composite Leather" means they still use animal leather in their composite or there other balls which is cruel to animals and contributing to one of the leading causes of Climate Change in Animal Agriculture. Plus microfibers break down into microplastics that are dangerous for humans. 

Also the Wilson balls tend to be a tad lighter than other balls which is hard if you are switching balls often. Often times a non Wilson ball will feel heavier because Wilson is lighter than standard balls. 

Lastly the price of a Wilson Evolution Ball or Spalding is getting out of hand. Basketball is so great because it is easy access for everyone to play. By pricing your basketball over $80 it really limits who has access to your ball. They do have cheaper options but the quality drastically decreases.
