How To Play Pickleball - What Are The Rules Of Pickle Ball

The Newest & Fastest Growing Sport to Sweep the Nation

Have you ever heard of pickleball? If not, you're not alone. Pickleball is a relatively new sport that is slowly but surely gaining popularity all across the United States. Invented in the 1960s, pickleball is a paddle sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. Pickleball can be played as singles or doubles, and is a great way to get some exercise while spending time with friends or family.

How to Play Pickleball?

Pickleball is played on a court that is 20 feet wide by 44 feet long, with a net that is 36 inches high at the center. The ball used in Pickleball is similar to a Wiffle ball, and paddles are smaller than tennis rackets. The game can be played indoors or outdoors, and one match consists of three games to 11 points.

Rules of Pickleball & Why Are They So Confusing

The game of Pickleball can be played with two players (singles) or four players (doubles). In singles, each player has two serves followed by three side-outs. In doubles, each team has one serve followed by three side-outs. A point is scored when the serving team hits the ball into the non-volley zone and the opposing team cannot return it. If the ball hits the ground twice on one side, goes out of bounds, or is hit faultily, then a point is not scored and the other team gets to serve. The first team to score 11 points (with a 2-point advantage) wins the game.

The game of Pickleball is played on a court that is 20 feet by 44 feet. The net is 36 inches high at the center and 34 inches high at the sides. The ball used in Pickleball is similar to a Wiffle Ball and is Hollow plastic with 26 small perforations. Eco Sports TPE Eco-Friendly Biodegradable Pickleballs are perfect for fun & high quality matches and for people who care about the environment.

Pickleball is a really fun sport for people of all ages, and is perfect for anyone looking for a low-impact workout. Because the ball moves more slowly than in sports like tennis or squash, Pickleball is much easier on the joints than other racquet sports. Additionally, Pickleball can be played without running too much, making it ideal for people who might not be able to run long distances due to an injury or other health condition.

Yes there are a lot of rules for Pickleball but they all make sense once you get the hang of the game especially the 3 part scoring. The 3rd part is just who is serving the first teammate or second teammate. Other wise scoring is pretty similar to other sports.

If you're interested in playing Pickleball, there are probably plenty of places to play near you. To find a Pickleball court near you, try searching online or asking your local recreation center if they offer the sport.

Playing Pickleball Competitively

If you are interested in playing competitively, there are professional pickleball leagues that you can join. These leagues are typically made up of kids, parents, soccer players, and athletes who want to stay active and have some fun. There are also tournaments that you can compete in if you want to take your pickleball game to the next level.

Pickleball is a sport that is perfect for anyone who wants to stay active and have some fun. It can be played competitively or just for fun with friends and family. If you are looking for a new sport to try out, pickleball just might be for you!
